Asus continues to announce new members in the ever growing Eee family, and this time it is a very attractive addition.

The main attraction of the 1004DN laptop, is the optical drive that is of the "super-multi " type.

The machine also has 2 mouse buttons instead of one, which has been a tendency with the previous Eee models.

1004DN is equipped with a 10-inch LCD screen and is equipped with the most powerful Atom processor on the market, the Atom N280 that runs with a clock speed of 1.66GHZ.

The keyboard would allegedly be the same size as the newly announced 1002H model, which should offer a 92% full size keyboard.

It all seems very attractive, but we think that a PATA drive is a bit old fashioned.
