This time, I have been fortunate enough to review a bag from Umates. Since I do not know the producer, I resisted the temptation to google them and instead, waited (almost) patiently, untill I received the bag from them. How the review went, you will have to read on to find out.

Note that from this review and onwards we have taken a completely new imagesystem in use which we hope you, our users, will appreciate.

The Review
Let me be perfectly honest, I come to praise the bag very much. So let us start with the criticism first. The first meetings to you when you open the box, is a quite incredible stench of rubber, which is quite natural, when the bag is covered with a material called Rubbex.
The problem is that it takes the stench quite a long time to disappear. Even when I had the bag around, to see how it actually worked, I was followed by a stench of rubber.
But now, after a few days, the stench is almost gone, so the problem is fortunately not a permanent one.
With this little criticism out of the way, we need to look more closely at the bag.

The bag is in many ways an ordinary bag, but it contains a lot of details that oser of quality.
From you put your laptop in your bag and you take it up again, there are a lot of good features that stand out. The bag is good, and there is plenty space for CDs, power supply, magazines, books and a laptop ofcourse.

Let it be said right away, I am quite clumsy and it is rather the rule than the exception that my troll fingers get destroyed, lost or crushed at least one subject a day, but with this bag, I am quite sure that there is the major accidents.
The first is the room where the Laptop is, lined with foam, the second is the whole bag wrapped in something that feels like hard plastic.
The laptop is also kept completely in place, and if you are looking to the left of the picture, you will notice a small purse, which both hold Laptop in place and also serve as pencilcase. Very smart.

In general it appears ,throughout the bag, robust and see just how the handle is produced. Metal, leather and rubber have rarely been in a privileged association. Gradually, I have had some bags to my laptops, and actually handle always been one of the weakest points. For a fairly heavy laptop and a lot of magazines, the bag pretty heavy, which burden the handle very much. A similar treatment, I have exposed this bag and there was no get problems. And while the handle is comfortable to hold in.

We must now look at the shoulder strap. Again, there are some very clever details that deserves a few words along the way. To check the picture above that shows the "hinge" where the shoulder strap set solid.

Here we see the same hinge when I opened it up. You can click off the shoulder strap, as you like, and the construction is very robust.
It is therefore very easy to remove and attach the shoulder strap. Which is very nice for a gut like me who can just to keep my bag in hand.

All is not rosy though, as the shoulder strap is simply too thin. It is fairly thick but the width is too small, making it quite uncomfortable to wear, if you have filled bag.
Large minus, mainly because the rest of the bag is so thoughtful.

The shoulder strap is fitted with an excellent phonedispenser. Personally, I never use it, but I am convinced that a businessman with several phones, would welcome the opportunity.

The bag works, as I said, very thoughtful, and the above pictures are an example of this. If you fold the pages and put the laptop in the bag, you have a very good support for the computer. And if you need to make a presentation, it fits a common projector and is excellent in space.

Conclusion
As I now have the habit of not delivering my reviews on time, my editor will eventually abandon me and I almost dare not send this review on time due to the chance of the shock beeing too much for him.
However, there are some advantages to be slow, because usually I have the products are quite long and it provides a unique opportunity, to see if there are certain points where there will be problems.
This bag, I have used quite a lot and I have not always treated it nicely, it is used as it is. For a sound and solid bag that has to handle the useage of every day wear and tear, this one surely handles it.
The bag has been a very pleasant acquaintance and I look forward to seeing more from the manufacturer.
The bag gets the warmest recommendations from here and if you're looking for a sturdy bag, at a reasonable price, it should certainly be considered.
