MSI introduced their 12.1 inch Wind U230 laptop back in the fall of 2009, but someone apparently thought it was just a tiny bit too large, because now they have launched Wind U230 Light.
Light looks pretty much like its predecessor, although is slightly smaller with its 11.6 inch display. While still LED-lit and running a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the display is now matte or anti-glare and should be far more pleasant to use in sunlight.
Interestingly enough, the smaller size has done little to reduce the weight or thickness, and the specs are largely unchanged as well:

The smaller display has not resulted in a longer battery life, which can only go up to 4 hours as before. Not very impressive for a supposedly ultramobile device, but that seems to be the tradeoff with AMD.
At least the price of $399 feels rather low and means you get pretty nice performance for your buck. This is especially true when you compare with the smaller (and weaker) netbooks that lie in the same price range.
