It seems Toshiba's NB305 is getting a minor upgrade in the form of an as yet unreleased Intel Atom processor, namely N455. The difference between it and the current N450 is supposedly only that N455 supports DDR3 RAM whereas N450 does not.
That theoretically means greater performance and lower power consumption (and by extension a longer battery life), but whether this will actually be noticeable in real life is a good question. You probably should not expect too much, so if you are not happy with netbook performance as it is, you will probably still be with the new processor and DDR3 RAM.
